Starting with the eleventh version of the operating system Google, the company has implemented a policy of limited access to files (Scoped Storage). This means that the old paths to messenger data have stopped working for most file managers that do not have special privileges. Now all media files, including images, videos and documents, are located along the path Android/media/com.whatsapp/WhatsApp/Media.
