If you need regularly save videos from VK, it is more convenient to install a specialized application. We analyzed 15 apps from Google Play and third-party sources, selecting 4 of the most reliable:

If the video in the message weighs more 1 GB (for example, long streams or recordings from concerts), it is more convenient to download it to your PC and then transfer it to your phone. For this you will need:

    1. Open video in VK Messenger on the phone.
    2. Click ⋮ → Open in browser (if this option is not available, copy the link and paste it into the browser manually).

    4. Right click on the video → View the element code (or Inspect v Chrome).
    5. In the window that opens, find the tag <video> or <source>.
    6. Copy the attribute value src="..." —this is a direct link to the video.
