If there is no item Delete then the video does not belong to your account (for example, it is an uploaded video from someone else’s playlist). In this case, try other methods from this article.

⚠️ Attention: In some regions, YouTube may request additional confirmation via two-factor authentication (SMS or email) when deleting a video with a large number of views (usually from 10,000). If the code does not arrive, check the folder Spam in the mail or try to delete the video through the browser.

Method 3: Delete via YouTube Studio (for channel authors)

If you have a channel with monetization or you often download content, it is more convenient to use the application YouTube Studio. It provides advanced tools for video management, including batch deletion and analytics.

How to delete a video via Studio:

Method 4: Deleting a video from your watch history (if it’s not yours)

If the video does not belong to your account, but is displayed in your watch history or playlists, you can remove it from there. This will not delete the video from YouTube completely, but it will clear your activity.

⚠️ Attention: Once a video is deleted through a complaint, it will be impossible to restore it - even if the complaint turns out to be erroneous. YouTube does not return content after copyright blocking.
